Salary: £41000 - £50000 per annum

In this role you will be working on a broad caseload of mainly both contentious and non-contentious employment matters including, reviewing and drafting employment policies and agreements, preparing cases for employment tribunal proceedings, settlement agreements and termination agreements, service agreements and preparing documents for clients in relation to disciplinary and much more.
The Employment department get a lot of referral work from within the firm but also develop free standing work themselves. They are looking for someone who can pick up some substantive work from the Partners, freeing them up a little to focus on further client development, and provide support to their junior colleague. There will be the opportunity to contribute to and get involved in client seminars and training.
The successful candidate should ideally be NQ-4 years PQE, with experience of handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, however, this has been given as a guideline and those who are more experienced are also encouraged to apply. They also want someone who has a high degree of motivation and someone who is commercially minded with the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients, contacts and internal colleagues.
