A Family Solicitor/Legal Executive is required for a permanent opportunity with a highly regarded firm based in Gloucestershire.
You will have a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience advising on family law matters, although consideration will be given to NQ's if they have previous experience working in a family department of a legal firm.
The successful individual will be familiar with all aspects of private family law and in particular domestic abuse and private law children work. Some knowledge of public and care proceedings as well as legal aid would be beneficial.
Working closely within the family department, the firm requires an individual who is enthusiastic, ambitious and dynamic with excellent communication skills and an ability to get on with people. They should be prepared to build relationships and understand the industry they operate in and the challenges they face. As such, in addition to the conduct of family related cases, it will be necessary for the successful candidate to be a team player who can contribute towards the growth of the department. This may involve participation in marketing events, seminars and generally being able to work with minimum supervision, building on their experience.
