DWF LLP is now seeking to recruit a Senior Associate to join the Real Estate team in Manchester. Candidates will have gained a broad range of Real Estate experience during their training and post qualification experience.
Our Real Estate Practice Group deal with all aspects of real estate legal issues, including high-value acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management, development (including regeneration projects) and the creation and treatment of all kinds of investments. We act for landowners, occupiers, developers, funders, contractors and professionals across the sector. We also work with landlords and tenants within the institutional, telecoms, corporate, retail and public sectors – including education and local government.
The Senior Associate we are looking to recruit will predominantly work for two of DWF's leading telecom clients. The strategic partnership with one of these clients generates plenty of high value real estate work and also offers an excellent opportunity for the Senior Associate to further develop these robust client relationships – in what is an area of considerable growth. The work will mainly involve commercial landlord and tenant law in the context of telecommunications mast sites including site acquisitions, upgrades, renewals, estates matters, and forced site moves. The work also involves providing support to the Real Estate Litigation team in Code litigation matters, and providing support to the Partner in the team on a wide range of fronts, including the interface with the team's two main clients.
We are seeking applications from candidates who have relevant property experience in dealing with large portfolios of transactions for demanding, target-driven clients. We are also seeking candidates with confidence in terms of presentation skills and client contact. Solid drafting skills are a key requirement in this role as well as a solid background in landlord & tenant work, and providing supervision to more junior team members.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a drive to succeed and an enthusiasm to engage with clients. It is important that the successful candidate has the ability to work as part of a team in addition to being confident working under his/ her own initiative.
