The Role
This is a Partner level role for a firm that have set their sights on building their Intellectual Property presence throughout the UK. They have Tier 1 in the majority of their practice areas and want to enhance this by welcoming a high-profile Partner that will lead the practice, increase headcount and develop or introduce an existing client base.
The role would best suit a wide-ranging IP practitioner with duties to include advising on trademarks, design rights, patents, IP licensing, brand protection strategies and brand portfolio management. The work could be between contentious and non-contentious and the role is very much geared towards the preference of the successful candidate.
In return you will be given full autonomy to build this teams national presence within the UK on a scale to match that of some off the most prominent firms in the country. Full investment, support and strategic direction can be offered from the Senior Partner's at the firm, but ultimately the successful candidate will control the direction of the practice.
Requirements
* You will be an Intellectual Property Partner with at least 7 years PQE
* You will have technical knowledge
* Experience of managing a team is of advantage
* Excellent communication skills are essential
