Our client seeks to recruit an in-house lawyer to join their established in-house legal team based in Birmingham city centre.

Reporting into the Associate General Counsel the role will assist with the provision of high quality legal support including drafting documents and providing advice to staff at all levels on all aspects of commercial contracts law including in relation to the procurement and negotiation of high value construction agreements as well as other generic legal contracts.

A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE you will work closely with the team and internal customers. Commercially minded you will have experience of providing commercial contract advice in respect of procurement law. We will consider lawyers from either a commercial contracts, procurement or non-contentious construction background.

This role is an ideal opportunity to move in-house in a highly supported environment.

In addition to possessing a relevant technical background you must exhibit strong personal credibility have excellent client care skills as well as being a talented communicator. Strong self-motivation and the ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks under pressure is vital.
