Salary: £37000 - £45000 per annum
Urgent requirement for an Adult Social Care Lawyer in Northamptonshire to undertake a 12-month fixed term contract to commence in July 2021.
Reporting to the principal lawyer within the Northampton based office, the successful lawyer will be able to hit the ground running, utilising their skills and expertise in adult social care to provide high quality advice to public sector clients. Additionally, the successful lawyer will be required to travel between the firm’s other offices to conduct meetings, therefore a full driving licence will be essential. Full and part time applications will be considered.

- Judicial review proceedings
- Mental health matters
- Healthcare matters
- Community care cases
- Court of Protection disputes
- Providing training to clients
- Conducting advocacy at courts and tribunals
- A qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE
- Technically proficient in all aspects of adult social care and community law
- Available from June 2021 for a period of 12 months
- Possesses outstanding communication and client care skills
- Demonstrates an understanding of the legal framework surrounding local government
- Strong advocacy skills will be essential
- Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Has a full driving licence and access to own transport
