A rare opportunity has arisen for a skilful Facilities Assistant to join our client’s Lexcel accredited practice in Hertfordshire.

This is a fantastic offer for a talented Facilities Assistant to join Legal 500 firm in St. Albans. The successful applicant will ensure the smooth day to day running of the facilities function.

Responsibilities

  • Handling post and deliveries
  • Daily banking procedures
  • Handling stationery and business supplies
  • Monitoring facilities inbox on a regular basis
  • Responding to general requests
  • Photocopying
  • Assisting with office moves
  • Updating central company property register and company asset log
  • Setting up meetings and room layouts
  • Ensuring cleanliness of buildings
  • Ordering and setting up catering
  • Reserving car parking spaces
  • Transportation of goods between offices
  • Running weekly fire alarm tests
  • Providing refreshments to clients in meeting rooms
  • Providing reception cover, including late night reception cover on Wednesdays
  • General administrative duties
  • Storage and file retrieval
  • Handling faults and repairs
  • Property inspections
  • Completing audit reports of properties
The Candidate

  • Office assistants and facilities assistants with at least 1 year’s experience
  • Previous experience of working within a legal framework is advantageous, but not essential
  • IT proficient
  • Well-organised, self-motivated and has great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
