Job Description

Salary: £80000 - £120000 per annum

The Role

The firm are looking for a Commercial Partner to join their flourishing Manchester office.

You will work closely with the other Partners within the commercial department, and more generally across the firm, to drive the business forwards. You will work as part of a driven and commercially successful leadership team.

You will work alongside industry leaders and will deal with all types of commercial agreements, ranging from trading agreements, complex major projects, IP and IT related agreements, compliance, data protection, outsourcing and joint ventures.

The role itself with be weighted towards the IT and Tech sector, making for an interesting role.
You will mentor and oversee the work of junior Lawyers and help them to progress in their careers.

This role comes with strong prospects to progress, in line with the growth agenda. The firm are succession planning are keen to find the next generation of senior Lawyers.

Requirements

* You will be a Commercial Solicitor with at least 8 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
* Experience working in the IT and Tech sector would be preferred
* You will have a strong technical knowledge and first-class communication skills
* You will have strong business development capabilities
* A transferable client base or regional contacts is highly advantageous
