What are we looking for?
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join Moore Barlow on a 6-month fixed-term contract to work on a project within our Private Wealth team. You’ll be working with and learning from some brilliant and highly recognised Partners and Solicitors in this specialist area of law.
The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the Private Wealth team helping register all existing trusts within the firm. This role is quite varied and very much a team role working collaboratively with others. We’re happy to invest time into someone, so you will be fully trained up and will have continued support from the team.
The successful candidate will have high attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. We’re not necessarily looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, we’re very keen on someone confident who is willing to learn and happy to get stuck in. This is an excellent opportunity for you to start out your legal career and gain valuable skills within a reputable law firm.
Key responsibilities
- Dealing with the changes in regulations for registering all trusts
- Going through various trust documents and deeds, identifying trusts
- Corresponding with relevant fee earners and supporting the team
- Accurately entering information onto the HMRC database
- Regularly liaising with clients over the phone and via email
- Working towards project deadlines
