We are working with an international retail PLC, looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to join the Legal Team for a period of 9 months. The role sits within the Offer & Sourcing Legal Team and the priority is to support stakeholders operating out of the UK, Europe and Asia. Reporting to the Legal Director, this role will suit a candidate with experience in drafting and negotiating international supply agreements in the context of multinational operations, plus - ideally - some experience in vendor compliance and due diligence. Key relationships will include buyers across the business as well as other functions (including Finance and Quality).
We are looking for a candidate qualified in England & Wales or other common law jurisdiction, with strong training and grounding ideally from private practice and at least some prior in-house experience. Cultural fit in this collegiate team is key and you must be able to foster strong relationships with stakeholders and work autonomously when required.
