Legal Counsel - Construction

We have been instructed on a fantastic opportunity for a disputes lawyer with expertise in construction to join an organisation with international outreach who provides engineering/construction consultancy and project management for buildings, infrastructure and the environment.

This role can be based in our clients SW England, London, Leeds or Manchester offices.

As an Associate Solicitor, you will be reporting to the General Counsel and you will be focussed on supporting the business to defend claims and disputes including appropriate liaisons with insurers in managing these matters. You will also carry out negotiations, preparation of pre-action correspondence and work closely with the General Counsel to compile appropriate strategy in dealings with the claims and disputes.

It is essential that you have dispute resolution experience in the construction sector and have provided contract management and dispute avoidance either in-house or in private practice. Furthermore, tangible working knowledge of professional indemnity insurance would be highly valued. You must be at least 4 years' PQE and UK qualified.

Remuneration - Up to £80,000 depending on experience and location + comprehensive benefits package
