Salary: £110000 - £130000 per annum
The Organisation
A leading global Payments provider, operating in the booming Fintech space, my client are long established, fast growing, financially successful (and stable). With over 1,500 Global employees, their continued expansion includes growing their European operations and footprint in new markets, and as such, are looking to establish a firm regulatory structure with the hiring of a European Regulatory Counsel.
The role
* Advising on regulatory matters in multiple jurisdictions in Europe
* Supporting the Compliance function in building and maintaining good working relationships with regulators, where required
* Maintaining awareness and advising on evolving regulations in multiple markets, and keeping current on issues and upcoming regulatory changes
* Supporting licensing and registration process in new European markets
* Liaising and working with outside counsel in the region
* Working directly with business and marketing teams to support the development of new products and services
* Formulating the organisation's regulatory and public policy strategy
The candidate
This is a senior position in the organisation therefore my client are looking for an established Lawyer, with experience in the Financial Services market in the UK, the key requirements for the role include:
* 5 years+ PQE
* Experience in advising on Financial Services Regulation
* Experience in the Payments market (desired but not essential)
* Experience in the Fintech market (desired but not essential)
What's on offer
£110,000 - £130,000 basic salary
15% bonus
