MEDIA LAWYER
NEW STREAMING SERVICE
Our client is an exciting new streaming service.
It brings together the very best in entertainment, movies and original series from some of the most iconic and best loved entertainment brands worldwide.
We are supporting the search for a media lawyer to join as General Counsel.
You will oversee all matters relating to the launch of the new streaming service and the distribution of content across a number of key European territories.
You will be responsible for the legal and business affairs aspects of large, international content acquisition and distribution deals, both B2B and B2C and multiple negotiations for linear content.
The business will require legal advice primarily to support commercial and distribution contracting, content licensing, consumer and marketing, data privacy and audiovisual regulation and compliance, in each case as relevant to the European markets and jurisdictions in which the business operates.
This will be a hands on role, working closely with the Executive team and candidates who can demonstrate a proactive and passionate mindset, as well as a true desire to roll their sleeves up and get involved at all levels, will be favourably considered.
You will be a media lawyer with extensive post qualification experience (preferably in-house) from a multinational streaming and/or TV and entertainment media company ideally.
