Our client is one-of-a-kind streaming provider available in multiple markets globally. They are looking for a commercial IP lawyer to join the LBA team who work on a wide range of interesting and broad legal & business affairs matters.
You will draft and negotiate all sorts of contracts, including for software and technical services, commercial distribution, content acquisition, marketing and PR services, amongst others; and provide local law advice for each of the territories within which our client operates, working with external counsel as required.
Key responsibilities:
* Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and IP and rights agreements
* Liaising with all business's departments providing legal advice and advising on potential legal implications
* Providing general commercial and legal advice, particularly in relation to broadcaster and global streamer terms, data protection and privacy, copyright, trademarks and clearance issues associated with productions and distribution
* Attending meetings with internal clients and the broad legal team
You will be a UK qualified lawyer (from NQ- 5 years PQE) and have knowledge and experience of intellectual property rights, commercial law and data protection.
