Job Description
Salary: car pension bonus
WEST LONDON
FULL/PART-TIME
HYBRID
Our client is a major innovator in the media and entertainment space and its consumer team is central to its ongoing success.
They are looking for a fantastic lawyer to support the wider company on all customer-facing legal issues. There is an emphasis on new product design and you will work across an exciting range of significant, often ground-breaking new projects. The client is extremely entrepreneurial and innovative and so there are always new projects and ideas circulating!
You will work with a number of different teams to build brilliant, legally compliant products to increase their offering. This role will play a key part in the client's focus on its customers, and the customer experience.
You will be expected to work across a number of projects and legal areas- there is no ownership of relationships in the team and you will develop relationships with stakeholders at all different levels from Day 1. The key focus will be on consumer law, which will include some regulatory work (with e.g. OFCOM, ASA etc), as well as policy work, which will involve advocating for the company in order to influence optimal outcomes. You will also be expected to voice your opinion and make subjective judgments- for example as to whether an advert is misleading and so forth.
They are looking for a collaborative, excellent communicator: someone who is capable of leading tasks and engaging directly with stakeholders. The team works leanly, so you will manage your own projects and feed into senior members as needed. There is no focus on hierarchy and you can find yourself in conversation with some very senior stakeholders whatever your level of experience.
They will look at candidates from in-house and from private practice (particularly if you have secondment experience).
There is tremendous career progression, and you will be stretched and developed in this role.
Please contact Georgina du Pon or Philippa Bavinton for further details.
