Salary: £80 000 + benefits
We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Conflicts Attorney position, to sit within the Compliance team of our client, a well-respected, expanding US law firm, in the heart of the City.
The position will be based in the collegiate London office; however, it is a global role and will offer fantastic, international exposure to the successful applicant.
The Conflicts Attorney will be responsible for: identifying, analysing, and resolving potential conflicts of interest related to the Firm’s new business acquisition and lateral hiring. This position ensures new matters and attorney hires are compliant with the Firm’s conflicts and risk management policies and procedures.
Typical duties will include:
- Conducting conflict analysis
- Preparing, auditing, and presenting conflict reports to attorneys to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Consulting with partners, General Counsel's office, and the Professional Responsibility Committee regularly
- Reviewing engagement letters
- Performing legal research
Ideally candidates, will have qualified as a lawyer (in any jurisdiction) and have at least 3 years’ experience, gained from within a comparative role. A competitive salary of £80K is on offer and the interview process will be commencing asap.
