JOB TITLE: Legal Assistant (Crime)
EXPERIENCE: 12 months’ experience
LOCATION: Greater Manchester
SALARY: up to c£25,000 DOE
THE ROLE:
This is an exciting role for an ambitious Criminal Legal Assistant to join a successful firm. Your main duties will include liaising with the police regarding the status of cases, diary management, arranging police station interviews, corresponding with the Courts and CPS, opening files and preparing files for billing. Ideally you will have previous experience submitting legal aid applications, however this is not essential. Applications are sought from candidates that have upwards of 12 months’ experience within a previous administrative role. It is desired that you will be an accredited police station representative or law graduate. You will have excellent written & verbal communication skills, the ability to manage your time effectively and prioritise your workload where needed is essential to be successful in this role.
