JOB TITLE: Solicitor – Membership Body
PQE REQUIRED: 4+ PQE
LOCATION: 100% Remote Working
HOURLY RATE: up to £46,000
THE ROLE:
The appointed Solicitor will support the legal functions of this membership body and be on hand to provide legal advice as required in order to support this growing business’ objectives. The appointed candidate will be required to advise on a range of legal matters, namely IP, charity law, business law and data protection. The successful Solicitor may also, from time to time, be expected to pick up on some fitness to practise cases and provide technical and legal advise accordingly. This role can be conducted on a 100% remote working basis, so long as the Solicitor can facilitate travel to the East Midlands now and again.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors who have in excess of 4 years’ experience in 2 or more of the areas mentioned above. Applicants are not required to have experience in all aforementioned areas of law but must be open to getting up to speed with this type of work on behalf of the organisation. Proven advocacy experience is essential in order to be considered for this role along with the ability to understand, explain and apply complex case law and legislation.
