Insurance Paralegal

Job Description

Salary: £35,000

A top-tier Legal 500 UK law firm is seeking an experienced paralegal to join their Insurance & Risk team. The role can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

The successful individual will be involved in pursuing recovery of subrogated losses on behalf of insurance companies and uninsured losses for corporate clients arising from motor and property damage claims. The majority of the caseload will be comprised of claims with a value up to £5,000.

Salary is commensurate with experience, but will be competitive. The firm also offers other attractive benefits and does utilise a hybrid working approach.

Key desirable skills:

* Experience of subrogated recoveries
* Knowledge of dealing with claims, assessing quantum and negotiating settlement
* Communicates well
* Works effectively with team members
* Organised and able to prioritise
