Our client is an exciting and fast growing Indie. It is making some of the most cutting edge and multi-genre television, film and music content, thanks to a pre-eminent team of writers, producers, directors and talent.
About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified lawyer to join the Legal & Business Affairs team.
You will work closely with each of the Company's production divisions: Factual, Entertainment, Music & Sport, Live & Multicam, Scripted and Development, as well as the Company's support functions (e.g. Finance and HR). You will ensure that all relevant contracts are drafted, negotiated and processed in a timely fashion, as well as assist the Director of Legal & Business Affairs in Dispute Resolution, IP Protection and Rights Analysis.
About you:
You will be a well-trained lawyer from either private practice or in-house. You might be a media lawyer already or alternatively, you might be interested in a career as a media lawyer.
More importantly, you will have passion, ambition and enthusiasm and will want to work across both scripted and non-scripted content- covering all genres- and everything in between. You will not be bored!
