People choose to work at Capsticks because we have a passion and a curiosity for the type of work we do. We’re a full service law firm specialising in health, social care and housing sectors, as well as in the field of professional discipline.
You will be looking for a first class training experience, and of course experienced supportive supervision, and we will certainly provide you with both. But we also like to give our people responsibility early on in their careers and as a trainee; you will have autonomy to run your own cases, whilst knowing that you have the support of an approachable supervisor.
Our Training Principal, Ian Cooper takes his role very seriously and through regular contact with the trainee group, he is keen to receive feedback about the training experience we provide.
At the current time we only recruit into our Trainee Solicitor programme from our internal team of Paralegals, who play an invaluable role in the success of the firm. Therefore, the best way to secure a training contract with Capsticks is to join as a Paralegal. In doing so, you will have the opportunity to work in a truly varied role, with lots of responsibility early on. This experience is excellent preparation for progressing to become a Trainee Solicitor.
