JOB TITLE: Regulatory Officer
LOCATION: London (1 day per week in office, 4 days from home)
SALARY: Up to £37,000 per annum
THE ROLE:
An exciting regulatory opportunity has arisen with a highly regarded professional regulator for an ambitious and IT literate Officer to join their Regulatory team.
This role requires the successful Regulatory Officer to be highly capable of assessing and analysing collated information and making strong evidence-based decisions regarding the management of risk within a specific professional sector. You will be comfortable working automatously on your own caseload of risk-based assessments encompassing intelligence passed from other departments and information gathered. This role requires possession of strong IT skills and will involve the use of several different computer systems.
Applying the risk framework and guidelines to form robust decisions and working in a highly skilled team, the Regulatory Officer will form an integral part of the supportive and friendly team.
THE CANDIDATE:
Ideally you will be a graduate within law or a related field and will have experience in either regulatory and/or law processes. You will have exceptional analytical and decision-making skills and will produce excellent quality written work with high levels of accuracy and clarity. You will enjoy communicating with a variety of people across a range of roles and will take pride in delivering outstanding customer service. A good level of IT literacy is essential in this role as you will be utilising a case management system in addition to Microsoft Office packages.
