JOB TITLE: Commercial Lawyer
PQE: NQ – 2 years
LOCATION: Berkshire
SALARY: £45 – 55,000 DOE
THE ROLE:
This leading commercial practice is currently acting for a wide variety of clients on high quality and interesting matters and due to the number of instructions, they are now looking to hire an additional Solicitor for the team. You will have exposure to a wide range of interesting, high quality work and excellent opportunities to develop your technical knowledge and commercial skill set. You will be advising on a wide range of commercial contracts including matters related to commercial trading agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing agreements, IP, manufacturing, franchising, and data protection. You will be involved in drafting and negotiating contracts of various sizes and values and will be encouraged to act as an extension of the firm’s clients' in-house legal teams.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful Commercial Lawyer will have developed a genuine interest in commercial law and projects work in their early career and/or training contract. You will be keen to improve upon your drafting and negotiating skills; carrying out legal research and due diligence; guiding clients in a supportive environment through commercial challenges; developing client relationships and ensuring that you are a key member of the team to deliver solutions in line with the firm’s clients' aims.
