JOB TITLE: Senior Decision Maker
PQE REQUIRED: 2+ years’ experience
The key focus of the role will be to make sound, evidence-based decisions about the closure, advancement or resolution of cases and, in particular, whether the threshold for investigation has been met. The expectation of this role is that the successful candidate will make high volumes of decisions autonomously which will stand up to challenge and scrutiny. This role will require a sound understanding of professional regulation and evaluating cases within a framework of legislation and procedures. This Regulatory Body are based in Central London, with excellent transport links across Greater London.
The ideal Temporary Senior Decision Maker must have prior expertise in decision making within a regulatory environment, possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively explain complex decisions both verbally and in writing. You must be confident and able to analyse high volumes of case information and be able to adapt to differing priorities and work effectively under pressure as well as an ability to work effectively in a team and support and coach others.
