JOB TITLE: Clinical Negligence Lawyer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Negligence Lawyer to join this well-known membership organisation based in central London. The purpose of the role is to investigate and assist in non-ligated and litigated claims under supervision, with a varied caseload which will include providing advice, preparing cases and representing members in the defence of clinical negligence cases at all stages. A typical day will see you supporting the team on clinical negligence cases to include attending meetings, arranging conferences and the liaising with third parties, insurers, counsel and medical experts. There is no billing targets and no time recordings so the appointed candidate will get the opportunity to really focus on the running of their caseload to ensure the best for outcome for members, the business and the insurer.
The role is best suited to qualified Solicitors, Legal Executives or experienced Paralegals with upwards of 2+ years PQE, previous litigation experience is essential. The post holder will have previous experience in drafting documents and correspondence such as witness statements and letters of instruction to counsel and to medical experts.
