PRIVATE CLIENT SOLICITOR

Private Client Solicitor £34,500+ per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications Full Time, Permanent Peacehaven (some home working available) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join the Quality Solicitors Barwells team. The role is based within our growing Private Client Department in our friendly Peacehaven office, with some home working available. The role has a mixed private client caseload, to include wills, LPA’s, probate, and trusts. The successful candidate will be working alongside other Solicitors / Practitioners within Private Client and will work with and report to the Directors and Head of Department. Key duties and responsibilities * To manage all client work allocated by the Head of Department or other Partner. * To provide an ongoing high standard of client care to existing clients. * To work with Directors and other Private Client Practitioners, playing an active role in developing new business. * To deliver fee income in line with targeted objectives. * To keep informed of all changes in the Law and Practice and maintain relevant CPD . * To supervise, support and develop immediate support staff. * To perform work in line with the firm’s risk procedures, comply with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules on the Professional Conduct of Solicitors. Personal skills * Must be highly organised and able to manage and diarise own case load. * Excellent communication skills both with clients and other members of the department. * Able to work independently but seek advice from other members of the department. * Strong planning and organisational skills. * Proactive, forward thinking and able to cope well under pressure. * Good computer literacy and knowledge of case management systems. * Hardworking and positive attitude. * Wish to deliver a high-quality service. * A strong ability for networking would be desirable.
