RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR - HEAD OF DEPARTMENT

An opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Residential Property Lawyer with management experience to join a leading regional firm in their Southampton office. My client has over 40 practice areas ranked within the highest tiers of The Legal 500 and is recognised as a 2023 Leading Firm by Chambers & Partners. These attainments have been granted to due the firm's above-class provision of services to their individual and large, corporate clients on a national and international scale. Its people are the central driving factor to success and rewarded appropriately. The Conveyancing team works closely with other departments within the firm in particular the Private Wealth team who generate referrals from their HNW clients and the wider Real Estate department. The residential property team itself has over 50 employees at various levels of seniority from secretaries and assistants through to Partners and everything in between.. This role is seen as a crucial strategic move in the ongoing development of the department and will see you support and offer technical guidance to the team, supervising junior lawyers, and sharing work across the region. You will be handling a variety of high-net-worth transactions including agricultural estates and heritage properties together with typical freehold and leasehold properties and site developments. Another key element of the position is business development.
