DEBT RECOVERY PARALEGAL

Coventry Competitive Salary (c£26,000 per annum as a guideline) We are working with a very well-established, highly reputable, multi-office law firm, who are seeking an experienced Litigation / Fixed Fee Debt Recovery Paralegal to join their busy Litigation Department based at their head office on the outskirts of Coventry. Onsite parking is provided. The role will involve: * Undertaking certain elements of fee-earning work under supervision * Providing a fixed fee debt recovery service to clients * Advising on the best solution to recover clients' debts * Supporting, advising and negotiating on behalf of clients, ensuring a successful outcome as quickly as possible Suitable candidates will have: * Previous experience in fixed fee commercial debt collection, gained working in an SRA regulated law firm * A full UK driving licence, and own transport (office is not accessible by public transport) * Experience of giving guidance and advice to private landlords regarding property disputes (preferred but not essential) * Experience of running a caseload of debt recovery matters, achieving positive outcomes * Excellent communication skills * IT proficiency This is a full time permanent, office-based job working 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Reduced hours may also be considered for suitably experienced candidates.
