We are recruiting a Solicitor or Associate to join our busy Commercial Dispute Resolution team based at our Cardiff office. Our Dispute Resolution team is highly regarded and features prominently in both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners rankings, dealing with a broad range of commercial disputes for a wide variety of clients.
The role is full time and would involve working closely with a Partner on larger matters, as well as developing and running a case load, with support and supervision where needed. We are looking for an ambitious and bright candidate with a solid grounding of working in disputes, with at least 18 months’ experience, that is looking to take the next step in their career. This is an opportunity to enhance your technical ability and industry knowledge by working alongside an experienced team, as well as contributing to business development.
We are also open to considering a more experienced candidate for a more senior role at Associate level.
The role will give opportunity of working in a friendly and collaborative team atmosphere, access to complex work and clear routes to progression. We operate a hybrid working basis.
Applicant Criteria
Required skills and experience:
* A qualified solicitor in England and Wales
* A degree at 2:1 level or above
* Excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills
* Ability to manage workload and deadlines
* Clear client focus and enjoy building client relationships
* Creative thinking and a commercial approach with an enthusiasm for business development
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
