To assist in carrying out key functions and tasks within the Birmingham office.

Key areas of responsibility:
Reception
Ensure all incoming calls are answered promptly and directed accurately
Deal with routine and difficult enquiries from telephone calls and visitors
effectively and efficiently
Ensure confidentiality and security of all information is maintained.
Typist
Audio dictation transcription for Senior Partner
Preparing Court documents and forms
Administration
Assist with opening all incoming, outgoing and internal mail according to
office procedures.
Archiving – maintain archiving system. Closure and retrieval of matter
files/Deeds and Wills in accordance with standard archiving procedure.
Liaise with maintenance providers as directed by the Practice Manager,
e.g. cleaners, personnel hygiene, electricians, plumbers, to conduct
repairs in a timely fashion. Keep staff informed of progress made in
respect of outstanding items.
Undertake any other duties commensurate with the spirit of the role.
