BMC Recruitment is delighted to be working with a law firm in the Durham area to assist them in their recruitment for a legal secretary to join them on a permanent basis.
Background
This role is perfect for someone who has existing legal secretary experience and is looking for a new challenge. The role is full time, office based.
Duties & Responsibilities
The role will encompass providing support to the Wills, Trusts and Probate team and includes:
Supporting fee earners
Audio and copy typing
Processing claims for client related expenses as well as personal expenses for members of the team
Overseeing the general administration of all files in the department
Organising client appointments and arranging meeting rooms
Person specification
Previous experience as a legal secretary is essential, ideally 2-3 years
Previous experience of working as a legal secretary for a WTP department is desirable however not essential.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
