Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for a Legal Secretary on behalf of a well-respected, regional law firm. Our client is currently looking for a Personal Injury Secretary to join their Dispute Resolution department based in the Doncaster office. The ideal applicant must have experience in assisting with personal injury cases inside and outside the portal and from exit until trial.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Personal Injury Secretary, your responsibilities will include:
* Taking initial and ongoing instructions.
* Drafting with Claims Notification Forms.
* Obtaining and reviewing medical reports.
* Drafting schedule of loss.
* Formulating offers.
* Reviewing offers.
* Dealing with Stage 2 settlement packs.
* Issuing proceedings.
* Drafting briefs to counsel.
* Attending conferences and interviewing clients where necessary.
* Preparing bundles of documents for court hearings.
* Drafting legal documents.
* Reviewing files.
Required Skills:
* Organised and excellent time management.
* High levels of client care.
* Attention to detail.
* Strong typing skills.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office Packages – Word, Excel & Outlook.
