LEGAL COUNSEL

Position: Legal Counsel Role type: Full-Time, Permanent Level: UK Qualified Solicitor, 1 years plus PQE (candidates under the PQE with pre-qualification experience in commercial law will be considered, with an In-House or Private Practice background) Location: Ipswich (hybrid two to three days a week office based). Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits We are delighted to have been instructed on a new exciting Legal Counsel opportunity located in the Ipswich region. As the Legal Counsel, you will report to the General Counsel for the region and share in the responsibilities of providing commercial in-house legal support to all the UK and Ireland divisions. The role will include: Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and contractual terms. Offering legal guidance and support to local management and business/sales teams in the UK and Ireland. Legal reporting and documentation management. Managing corporate affairs and providing advice to the company. Candidate: Requirements: UK qualified Solicitor with a minimum one year's PQE, either with an In-House or Private Practice background A sound commercial law background and training Experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements A professional manner with good drafting and communication skills A well-organised approach to work and attention to detailSalary up to £65,000.00 per annum, plus bonus and excellent benefits.
