PARALEGAL

We are seeking a Paralegal to join our Private Wealth (Private Client) team, based in Woking. We offer a flexible working approach, combining office and home working (hybrid). This role will be split between our Woking and Richmond offices, with Woking being the primary office base location. Each office provides services to a differing mix of Clients, and the opportunity to work at each of these offices offers the successful applicant genuine variety and the ability to quickly develop new skills. Day to day Our Paralegals are a vital part of our team as they undertake a mixture of chargeable and non-chargeable work, managing their own duties whilst supporting other lawyers on their more complex matters. This work might include undertaking research, interpreting case law and/or sharing ideas about how to be reach a positive outcome for our Clients. Our Private Wealth team works typically with individuals of high net worth (typically with personal assets of £5m-£20m) across the full spectrum of Private Client work. Work will include taking instructions and preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, lifetime and succession planning, inheritance tax and capital gains tax mitigation planning, creation, administration and winding up of trusts and the administration of estates including domestic and international estates. Whilst some private client experience would be a distinct advantage, we will also consider individuals who have related work or study experience but can demonstrate a passion for private Client work.
