My client is a high-paced law firm based in High Wycombe,is actively seeking an experienced Legal Secretary. The ideal candidate will possess strong audio typing and Microsoft Office skills, demonstrate excellent client care, and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a busy law firm environment. Client Details My client provides comprehensive and professional legal services to navigate UK immigration law. As a Law firm they cater to a diverse clientele seeking expert immigration advice. The firm specialises in handling complex cases and representing clients before the First Tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal, demonstrating its proficiency in navigating intricate immigration matters for a broad spectrum of individuals. Description Client Interaction: Attend to clients and members of the public both on the telephone and within the firm. Handle existing and new client inquiries.Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and organising files. Utilise fast and accurate audio typing skills for typing letters and other legal documents.Diary Management: Manage diaries for Fee Earners within the firm.Document Management: Use legal case management systems efficiently. Upload documents on various portals.Financial Transactions: Take payments, handle cash, and issue invoices.Office Management: Attend to miscellaneous office tasks, including maintaining office space and office supplies.Profile Key Competencies and Skills: Exhibit excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office. Demonstrate strong client care skills and the ability to prioritise and organise work effectively. Be flexible, committed, punctual, and self-motivated. Display a positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. Work effectively both within a team and autonomously with minimal supervision. Possess strong attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach.Key Skills & Experience: Collaborate effectively as a team player. Have a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a busy law firm environment. Demonstrate excellent telephone skills and typing speed. Efficiently manage diaries and meet deadlines. Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Exhibit excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. Work proactively and demonstrate a positive can-do approach.Preferred Skills: Previous experience in an Immigration law environment. Ability to communicate in Urdu/Hindi.
