DCT Recruitment Ltd are looking for a Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive on a temporary position to cover 12 months maternity leave. Our client has been Established over 30 years ago, and is a successful growing firm. Our client has built its reputation on providing a quality, professional and personal service, where the client relationship and contact is paramount. They are all part of the same team and thrive on our interaction with both clients and employees. In order to maintain this ethos and the success it brings, our client are a Monday to Friday office based firm. Role Description Office based in Crosby, Liverpool. The successful candidate will have proven experience and knowledge in the preparation of Court of Protection, Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, and elderly client matters. Solid experience running own caseload; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Self-motivated, self-confident, and able to work with minimum supervision; Able to relate to clients at all levels and demonstrate excellent levels of client care; Good team player with collegial and collaborative approach; Able to forge and develop business relationships with an enthusiasm for networking and business development and appreciation of financial fundamentals. Role: • Undertake fee earning to high standards of accuracy and efficiency; • Able to work with a full caseload in busy office under supervision; • Assist in the development and marketing of the firm in line with the business and departmental plans; • To provide a profitable contribution and add value to the work of the department Responsibilities: • Progress instructions in accordance with established procedures of both good practice and the firm’s risk management processes; • Assist in the marketing activities and maintain appropriate professional relationships with referrers and clients; • Maintain financial controls for matters under supervision in conjunction with the Head of Department; • Play an active role within the team; • Take responsibility for delegated work; • Attend appropriate formal and informal training Our client is offering a competitive salary (£30k) dependent upon qualifications and experience, Contributory Pension, 25 days Annual Leave (increasing with length of service) plus Bank Holidays.
