Plot Sales Solicitor/Legal Executive We are pleased to be assisting our client, a leading national law firm, with their recruitment campaign for a qualified lawyer to join and head up our Plot Sales Team within their Real Estate Services Team. Our client is one of the UK's largest real estate groups, with a team of over 180 professionals advising on thousands of transactions across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland each year. Clients choose to work with our client because of their experience, depth of expertise, and sector know-how. They enjoy the trust of many in-house lawyers for both 'high profile' and business-as-usual work. This role is offered on a fully flexible working basis from their Manchester office and would best suit a qualified Chartered Legal Executive or Solicitor with a specialist background in plot sales. Your Role As a key addition to our existing team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact, being involved in various aspects of plot sales. Your responsibilities will include: Acting for clients providing private sale and shared ownership homes. Dealing with all aspects of legal site set-up and attending site set-up meetings. Managing a team of six, overseeing all aspects of a plot sales transaction from initial instruction to completion. Managing the financial performance of the team and financial planning, such as budget setting. Taking an active involvement in the supervision and development of junior team members. Liaising closely with partners and colleagues across our office locations within Real Estate to help identify and support business development initiatives to win new clients and new work from existing clients. Your Skills & Experience To excel in this role, you should have: A qualification as a Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) or Chartered Legal Executive. Demonstrable legal background specialising in plot sales, with technical expertise in site set-up. Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills. The ability to manage workloads and deadlines while being self-motivated. An understanding of our client's business needs and the ability to act in their best interest.
