They are known for their commitment to quality, innovation, and exceptional customer service, and are now expanding their IT Service Desk function at the company's Birmingham base, and are recruiting for an IT Service Desk Analyst to join the team. Client Details The client are one of Michael Page's long-standing partners within the Legal sector, and a global brand that are a true leader within their industry. You will be joining a business with a fantastic, award-winning reputation, known for its diversity, training and career progression opportunities. The company's UK head office is located in central Birmingham, walking distance from New Street, and is a hive of activity, home to all central functions, including a talented IT team.Description As the successful candidate for the IT Service Desk Analyst role, you will join an existing IT Service Desk, providing a 'follow-the-sun' service to the company's global userbase in an ITIL environment. You will take service requests via the company's IT Service Management system, and provide expert 1st Line support both over the phone and via email, whilst escalating through to 2nd/3rd Line where necessary. In addition to the core Microsoft applications, such as Office365 and Active Directory, you will also get the chance to learn to support bespoke legal applications such as iManage and BigHand, ultimately progressing your skills to become an expert within the industry. Career progression opportunities are excellent, as you will join a global firm, with a large-scale in-house presence. Not only will you have the chance to progress through to areas such as Infrastructure or Management, but you will have the chance to take advantage of opportunities to move internationally with the business. The role will come with the flexibility of being both office and home-based, but we are ideally looking for candidates that can commute to the Birmingham head office at least 2-3 times per week. Due to the global scope of the business, you will work as part of a team that operates on a shift pattern, working an 8-hour shift Monday - Friday between the hours of 7am and 10:30pm.Profile The key attribute we're looking for is excellent communication skills, with the ability to offer personable support to the firm's users.
