HEAD OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
SOLICITOR (c8/9PQE Plus)
WEST MIDLANDS
Legal Works is seeking an experienced intellectual property solicitor (8/9PQE+) to join a fast-developing team at this young, dynamic, and expanding National Commercial Practice to be Head of Department.
Opportunity
This opportunity will suit YOU if you are a senior IP lawyer with a proven track record building and managing a team of busy lawyers with diverse skill-sets and experience.
Role
To be successful in this role YOU will be at least 8/9pqe and be comfortable:-
*Working with management board to create a plan for growing the practice.
*Taking accountability for growth targets and how to get there.
*Feeding ideas and information to business development and marketing teams.
*Coordinating business development plans within the Dispute Resolution team.
*Representing the Dispute Resolution department in firm pitches and wider firm marketing.
*Creating a strategic vision for growing the practice and leading on implementation.
In addition, you will have first class people management experience and exposure building relations within the team as it grows in size, identifying individual expertise and publicise this within the wider firm, as well as, facilitating knowledge share, know-how and training.
You will be expected to maintain quality and delivery, monitoring client feedback, matching client needs and approach to individual lawyers.
No following required, but will of course be of interest.
Agile working is the norm for this practice and has been so since inception. The firm works with all their partners to support them working flexibly from home as well as in a comfortable office environment as and when required.
