Salary: £65000 - £75000 per annum
Employment Solicitor, Birmingham, 1-5 Years PQE, £65,000+ (DOE) - This is an opportunity to step into a role where you’ll be trusted with meaningful client work from day one, working alongside experienced employment lawyers on a broad range of matters. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, build strong client relationships and play an active part in the continued growth of the team. JOB REF:5566.
THE ROLE:
• Advising businesses and senior individuals on a broad range of employment issues and strategic matters
• Drafting and reviewing employment documentation, including contracts, policies and procedures
• Taking responsibility for employment tribunal matters through their lifecycle
• Advising on employment aspects of corporate and commercial transactions
• Assisting clients with data protection issues, including subject access requests
• Keeping clients informed and building relationships that extend beyond individual matters
• Developing sector expertise and staying ahead of changes in employment law
• Getting involved in business development, including seminars, client events and written content
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Employment Solicitors with between 1-5 Years PQE
• Experience across a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment work
• Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills
• A genuine interest in understanding clients and their businesses
• The confidence to take ownership of matters while knowing when to seek support
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• An enthusiasm for developing your career and contributing to the wider team
