Private Client Solicitor | 5+ PQE | West Midlands | £55 + DOE | Are you a Private Client Solicitor looking to manage their own caseload and play a leading role in developing a department. THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity to join a client-focused law firm, advising on a range of private client matters while contributing to the growth of the department. Responsibilities will include:
• Advising on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, trusts and capacity matters, including deputyship.
• Managing your own caseload and maintaining accurate, up-to-date files in line with firm policies.
• Supporting departmental growth through networking and business development.
• Monitoring work in progress (WIP) and client financing for ongoing matters.
• Using DPS for all emails, letters, reports and correspondence.
• Recording and responding to telephone calls, enquiries and requests where appropriate.
• Using IT systems effectively to manage files, collate data and complete administrative tasks.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applicants should have at least 2 years of legal experience and demonstrate:
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
• Experience using multiple systems and collating and analysing data.
• Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
