Executive Personal Assistant

Job Description

Salary: Competitive

We are currently recruiting for an experienced, highly organised and proactive Executive Personal Assistant to provide exceptional support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a well-established organisation based in Leicester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a polished and professional Executive PA who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and enjoys working closely with senior leadership.

The successful candidate will be a trusted right-hand support to the CFO, managing a demanding schedule, handling confidential information and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day executive activities.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have previously supported a CFO, CEO, Finance Director, Managing Partner or Board-level executive and are confident operating at the highest level of business.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive PA and executive support to the CFO, ensuring their day-to-day activities run smoothly and efficiently.

* Manage a complex and ever-changing diary, coordinating meetings, appointments and business commitments.

* Act as a key point of contact, liaising confidently and professionally with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.

* Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

* Coordinate senior management and Board meetings, including preparing agendas, organising documentation, taking minutes and monitoring follow-up actions.

* Manage emails, correspondence and incoming enquiries, prioritising effectively and exercising sound judgement.

* Prepare and proofread reports, presentations and executive-level documentation to a high standard.

* Arrange business travel, accommodation and detailed itineraries as required.

* Anticipate the CFO's requirements, proactively resolving issues and ensuring priorities are managed effectively.

* Monitor deadlines, track outstanding actions and ensure key commitments are delivered on time.

* Build strong working relationships across the business, acting as a professional and approachable representative of the CFO.

* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve administrative efficiency.

Skills & Experience Required

* Extensive experience as an Executive PA, Senior PA or Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a CFO, CEO, Finance Director, Partner or Board-level executive.

* A proven track record of supporting senior leadership within a busy, complex corporate environment.

* Previous experience working within a medium to large organisation, ideally with 150–200+ employees.

* Exceptional diary management, organisational and multitasking skills.

* Experience handling highly confidential, sensitive and commercially important information.

* A proactive, resourceful and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with senior executives and key stakeholders.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm, organised and professional under pressure.

* Excellent judgement, diplomacy and emotional intelligence.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* A polished, professional and personable approach, with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding executive support.

Desirable Experience

* Previous experience directly supporting a CFO or senior finance leader.

* A background within professional services, legal, financial services or a similarly structured corporate organisation.

* Experience coordinating Board meetings, executive committees and senior leadership activities.

* An understanding of corporate governance, business confidentiality and the importance of discretion at executive level.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is much more than a traditional PA. You will be a trusted, proactive and highly capable right-hand support who can think ahead, take ownership and confidently manage competing priorities.

You will be naturally discreet, exceptionally organised and comfortable working with senior stakeholders, while maintaining a professional, approachable and positive attitude.

If you are an experienced Executive PA looking for an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in an established organisation, we would love to hear from you
