Private Client Solicitor | Birmingham | Regional Law Firm
A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Client lawyer looking to join a firm with a strong reputation, loyal client base and a genuinely supportive working environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take responsibility for a varied caseload, build long-term relationships with clients and play an active role in the continued development of the Private Client team.
The Role
You will advise a broad range of private clients on a variety of matters, including:
Wills and estate planning
Lasting Powers of Attorney
Probate and estate administration
Trusts and trust administration
Inheritance Tax and succession planning
Estate planning for high-net-worth individuals
Court of Protection matters where appropriate
You will have significant client contact and will be expected to provide clear, practical and personable advice, developing trusted relationships with clients and their families.
The team works closely with other departments across the firm, providing opportunities to develop a strong network of internal relationships and offer a genuinely joined-up service to clients.
The Candidate
The firm is looking for a Private Client Solicitor who has solid experience across a broad range of private client work.
You will ideally have:
Experience advising on Wills, Probate and estate administration
A good understanding of trusts and estate planning
Excellent client care and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
A commercially aware and pragmatic approach
The ability to manage your own caseload
The confidence to develop and maintain long-standing client relationships
A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider team
The role would suit someone who is technically strong but also understands that Private Client is fundamentally about people and relationships.
