Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive - Private Client Location: Reading Salary: Competitive Job Type: Full-time Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive looking for your next career move? We are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its established Wills & Inheritance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 3-7 years' PQE who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and progressive environment. The Role You will manage your own varied caseload of private client matters, including: Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney Probate and estate administration Tax planning Trust administration Court of Protection mattersAlongside your own caseload, you will also have the opportunity to take on a broader role within the team, including: Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members Supervising, mentoring and developing colleagues Contributing to the strategic development of the department Building strong relationships with existing referrers and professional contacts Supporting business development, networking and marketing initiatives Raising the profile of the department within the local and professional communityAbout You The successful candidate will: Be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive Have 3-7 years' PQE within Private Client law Have strong experience across a broad range of private client matters Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge, particularly around complex estates and tax planning Have experience supervising, mentoring or supporting junior fee earners Possess excellent communication and client relationship skills Be commercially aware, with an interest in business development Be proactive, collaborative and committed to providing an exceptional client serviceWhat's on Offer?
