An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Matrimonial / Family Lawyer to join a well-established law firm with a strong presence across Herefordshire.
As a Matrimonial / Family Lawyer, you will join an expanding Family Law department, managing quality private family work within a supportive practice that offers flexibility and opportunities for career development.
This role offers hybrid working options, salary range of £45,000 – £65,000 (DOE) plus bonus and benefits. This role offers a relocation package.
The role is preferably based in Hereford, although Leominster may also be considered.
You will be responsible for:
Managing your own caseload of private family law matters.
Advising clients on divorce and separation.
Handling matrimonial finance and financial settlement matters.
Advising on private children matters.
Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes.
Preparing cases and documentation for court proceedings where required.
Building strong and trusted relationships with clients.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Family Law department.
Supporting the continued growth and development of the team.
What we are looking for:
Previously worked as a Family Lawyer, Matrimonial Lawyer, Family Solicitor, Matrimonial Solicitor, Legal Executive or in a similar role.
Experience in handling private family law and private children matters.
Understanding of matrimonial finance and financial settlements
Ability to independently manage a varied caseload.
Strong client care, communication and negotiation skills.
Commercial approach with a genuine interest in developing within the firm.
Please note: The firm does not currently undertake Legal Aid work.
