Salary: £57000 - £68000 per annum
Regulatory Lawyer, 6-Month Fixed Term Maternity Cover, 5+ Years’ Experience, London/Hybrid, £57,000–£68,000 Pro Rata. An exciting opportunity for an experienced regulatory lawyer to join a leading regulatory organisation on a six month maternity cover contract. Job ref: 5897
•Support the leadership and development of a Case Preparation and Presentation team, managing complex regulatory matters, including High Court applications and appeals, and providing expert legal advice, advocacy and case management guidance.
•Take responsibility for mentoring and supervising colleagues, delivering training, undertaking quality assurance and monitoring team performance, while contributing to legal and organisational strategies.
•Applicants must be qualified UK Solicitors or Barristers with a valid practising certificate and substantial experience handling complex professional regulation cases. Strong advocacy, analytical and communication skills are essential, alongside proven experience leading or supervising lawyers. Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) would be advantageous.
•Demonstrate excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities, while supporting colleagues’ development and maintaining high professional standards.
•On offer is a competitive salary of £57,000–£68,000 pro rata, a senior position with significant responsibility, involvement in legal strategy and organisational developmen. Hybrid working is available, with office attendance required two days per week, including Mondays for the team day, unless attendance at a hearing is necessary.
