Employment Lawyer (0–3 PQE) – Spider is advertising on behalf of Ellisons, who are looking for an enthusiastic Employment Lawyer to join their team in Chelmsford, Essex, on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll advise employers and employees on a wide range of workplace matters, providing clear, practical advice while building your confidence and taking increasing ownership of your work. Your responsibilities will include: Advising on employment contracts, policies and workplace issues Supporting disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters Advising on dismissals, redundancies, restructures and settlement agreements Assisting with employment tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal and discrimination Drafting contracts, staff handbooks and other employment documentation Building client relationships and working collaboratively across the firm About you You'll be a qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with 0–3 years' PQE in employment law, or relevant experience demonstrating your readiness for the role. Around 1–2 years' experience would be ideal, although newly qualified solicitors are welcome. You'll have excellent communication and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach. Most importantly, you're curious, proactive and keen to learn, with the confidence to build relationships and the ambition to develop your career.
