Our client sees clinical negligence as an important area for long term development. If you are an experienced clinical negligence solicitor you would be hard placed to find a better opportunity in South Wales at the moment.
Our client is a top 100 firm and is Chambers & Partners and L500 rated for claimant clinical negligence work.
As part of the firms' long term strategy, they are now seeking to appoint an additional claimant clinical negligence solicitor to join the team. The firm already have a wide client base and excellent links to charities and referrers which provide high quality work and there are excellent resources available to enable you to develop your own career in this sector.
The firm currently have a team of approximately 10 fee earners. They are seeking someone with at least 4 years' post qualification experience in clinical negligence. The firm will also consider applications from candidates who have undertaken a mixed claimant clinical negligence and personal injury caseload although this position is to handle clinical negligence work only. You will be responsible for running your own caseload of files (which are likely to be a mix of publicly funded, Insurance and privately funded). Your caseload will be varied and will include some high value and complex claims including claims over the value of £1m.
