An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced claimant costs lawyer to join one of Birmingham's leading law firms based in the city centre. If you have a wealth of experience working within costs and you are looking for the next step up in your career, look no further.
My client is a leading national Top 50 firm, highly invested in IT and with state-of-the-art offices in the centre of Birmingham. They are seeking to recruit an experienced claimant costs lawyer with ideally 3+ years' PQE to join their private client practice group. You will manage a caseload primarily concerning clinical negligence and personal injury matters, but also extending to commercial litigation, restructuring, planning or property litigation. In addition, your role will not be limited to cost drafting, as you will also work on budgeting, negotiations, and advocacy.
The close-knit team provides support and training. While the role will require some office attendance, the firm has successfully worked remotely throughout the past 12 months and will continue to offer some degree of home working as an option.
