Locum Debt Recovery Paralegal - West Midlands - 6 Months+ - Remote Working - £15 to £20 per hour (Umbrella)
Venn Group's specialist legal team are currently working with a reputable Local Authority in the West Midlands who are recruiting for a Locum Debt Recovery Paralegal to join their department.
This is a full-time assignment however candidates with part-time availability possessing the relevant experience may also be considered. This position will be offered for an initial period of 6 Months with the possibility of extension and will be worked on a fully remote basis for the foreseeable future. However, office presence is preferred on occasion.
This opportunity is suitable for a Paralegal or Legal Assistant with previous experience of Debt Recovery matters.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within Local Government.
Duties may include:

Dealing with commercial debt recovery and insolvency matters

Drafting legal documents including N1, N244, EX50, N30, N55, N56, N338 and N448 claims forms

Dealing with the debt recovery processes from inception through to collection

Initiating debt enforcement actions

General debt recovery collection matters such as care home fees contractual disputes

General administrative tasks as required
An hourly rate of up to £20 per hour (umbrella) is offered for this position.
